Our Mission
The mission of The Samaritan Center at the Jersey Shore is to provide hope and resiliency through mental health counseling and education.
We are a non-profit organization established to provide individuals, couples and families with support and resources to advance their overall wellness.
Our pledge is to assist clients with financial barriers who qualify for Silent Samaritan funding, ensuring they receive the care they need.

year. More than 1 in
20 U.S. adults
experience a serious
mental illness.
91,000 New Jersey
adolescents have
serious thoughts of
suicide each year,
including 1 in 9 of
those adolescents
aged 12-17.
Between 2018-2019,
327,000 adults in New
Jersey reported
needing mental health
treatment but not
receiving it. Cost is a
prevailing factor in not
receiving treatment.
